 Your role: 

  • Good Estate Planning and Trusts experience and knowledge as you will be setting the standards for others to follow
  • Create and update advice policy and support documentation for Financial Advisers, including Estate Planning and Trusts guidelines and guidance notes
  • Liaise with internal and external professionals, ensuring the financial advice systems are compliant, effective and robust enough to guarantee the advice process is delivered efficiently
  • Check the products’ performance, carry out due diligence on new providers, write reports and make suggestions on the product panel suitability, whilst checking for gaps in the portfolio
  • Be fully engaged in the business, whether this is your own team, the Financial Advisers or external providers, ensuring that the highest quality advice is provided
  • Ensure that Consumer Duty is embedded in every process, by reviewing client communications and advice journeys from start to finish
  • Review the forms and fact finds in an electronic format, to ensure the digitised paperwork has the right fields and ensure that the rules engines give the right outcomes
  • You will support the Financial Advisers with Estate Planning and Trusts and feedback on monthly calls on any issues that have come from the file checkers and highlight any gaps

For this role you will:

  • Have a genuine desire to work in Estate Planning and Trusts policy
  • Be experienced in the provision of Estate Planning and Trusts advice
  • Be self-motivated, able to work on your own initiative, skilled in making commercial decisions and comfortable managing your own workload
  • Be able to work both on your own or as part of a team
  • Be an articulate communicator, easily able to adapt to the fast-changing financial services market
