Client Services Manager

Basic: £45,000

We’re working with a well-respected, progressive and client-focused holistic IFA company that’s known for its longstanding client relationships and commitment to exceptional service. They’re now seeking an experienced Client Services Manager to lead their 12-person support team, ensuring a seamless client journey from onboarding through to ongoing servicing.

This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll work closely with advisers, paraplanners, and operations to manage workflow, develop internal processes, and support team performance. If you’re a confident communicator, natural organiser, and passionate about delivering high standards, this could be a great next step.

Your role:

  • Managing the day-to-day operations of the client services team, including workload planning and task delegation
  • Acting as the key liaison between support staff, paraplanners, and advisers to ensure efficient client servicing
  • Leading, coaching and mentoring administrators to ensure consistency, accuracy and client focus
  • Reviewing and improving internal processes to drive operational efficiency and compliance
  • Overseeing all client documentation, ensuring timely and accurate submissions
  • Supporting the onboarding of new clients and maintaining high levels of client satisfaction
  • Handling escalated queries and complex administrative tasks as needed
  • Contributing to a positive and collaborative team culture

Does this describe you?

  • Previous 5 year + experience in a client services or operations management role within a financial planning or wealth management environment
  • Strong understanding of financial advice processes and client servicing standards
  • Excellent proven leadership and organisational skills, with the ability to manage and develop a team
  • Extensive project management experience, and able to manage multiple priorities
  • Confident communicator with a proactive and solution-focused approach
  • High level of attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Experience with industry platforms and CRM systems (e.g. Intelligent Office, Salesforce, etc.)
  • Ideally holds the CII Diploma in Financial Planning or working towards it (not essential but desirable)
