This whole of market Financial Planning company excels in providing exceptional holistic advice. They have been nurturing and supporting both Private and Corporate clients for over 50 years, actively working with numerous business partners, who trust their IFAs to advise their customers, members and staff. They are regularly asked by the media to comment on personal and business financial planning

In your new role you will be:

  • Responsible for fulfilling the requirements of this company’s national Training & Competency scheme, thus ensuring the initial and ongoing competence of financial advisers
  • Assisting in the design, implementation, delivery and recording of individual and group training activities, maintaining the company’s objectives and the effective conduct of business
  • Incorporating the training requirements of both advisory and non-advisory functions
  • Working alongside Team Managers and established IFAs, providing development, coaching and training support to enable them to achieve their highest potential, in terms of sales and supervision skills and technical knowledge
  • Supporting new entrants to the company in achieving competency (CAS sign-off for advisers) and minimising the time taken for new entrants to understand and be able to follow company process and standards, reducing the time it takes for them to be productive
  • Assisting in monitoring adherence to company policies and processes and assessing the knowledge and skills of the workforce and identifying risks and training needs

To be considered for this fabulous role, you will need:

  • DipFa in Regulated Financial Advice
  • To be RDR compliant
  • To have been working in a Training and Competence role within a regulated Wealth Management environment
  • Significant experience of providing skills-based pro-active coaching to individuals and providing feedback, tailoring and adapting your methods to suit requirements
  • A proven track-record of achieving sales targets in a fast-paced environment, with experience of providing financial advice a bonus
  • To be happy to travel to offices in Bath, Cardiff and Exeter
