Fantastic desk-based role at a leading independent financial services company.

Location: Maidstone

Basic: £50,000

Additional benefits:

Up to £50,000 basic, OTE first year £60,000, second year £75,000 to £80,000 OTE

This wealth management company is a leading independent financial services company, who are renowned for delivering client focused independent financial planning of the highest level. The company is growing and offers a dynamic and fast-paced environment for the right person with full company training and career development.

This is a fantastic desk based financial advice role with some face-to-face client meetings, and 300 clients who you will be introduced to with a warm handover. In addition, you will get great support from more experienced people and also outsourced paraplanning, with reports coming to you within 3 days. With a low validation, your OTE in your first year is £60,000, and by your second year this grows to £80,000 OTE. Then within a couple of years, you will be fully face to face for all your advice.

Financial Adviser Responsibilities: 

  • Engaging with a wide range of clients over a telephone / video-based service for annual reviews and conversations
  • Ensuring clients are on the right service level
  • You will do most of your own admin/report writing, with support for more complex areas
  • Attention to detail and accuracy, to work towards improving client experience
  • Providing clients with holistic financial advice
  • Designing bespoke financial plans for each client
  • Understanding the clients’ goals and aspirations

As an Independent Financial Adviser, you will need: 

  • Minimum 2 years in an Independent Financial Advisory (IFA) role, ideally within a fast-paced financial planning environment
  • RQF level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning and / or working towards chartered
  • A sharp eye for detail and a passion for getting things right first time
  • To be client-driven: You will advise each individual client to the highest possible standard and recommend a bespoke solution for each one
  • Happy to network with professional connections and cultivate new business introductions
  • To be a self-starter who takes initiative and thrives in a dynamic setting
  • Comfortable using CRMs, cash flow planning tools, FE analytics
  • Good understanding of Pension, Trust and IHT planning
