Location: London Hybrid

Basic: £85,000

Additional benefits:

Salary up to £85,000 basic. Personal bonus. Company profit share. Car allowance and benefits

This is an excellent role for someone who believes financial wellbeing is about more than products or programmes – it’s about creating meaningful, lasting change for people.

This fast-growing workplace financial wellbeing business is redefining how organisations support their people. Working with a large and expanding portfolio of corporate clients, they deliver integrated financial wellbeing programmes, financial coaching, financial services advice and wealth management, all designed to help individuals make confident decisions throughout their working lives.

As Financial Wellbeing Director, you will sit at the heart of this growth story. This is a senior, market-facing role with real influence – shaping strategy, winning new corporate relationships and ensuring those partnerships flourish long after the contract is signed – business development at its best!

The Opportunity

This role blends commercial leadership with purpose.

You’ll be responsible for driving new business across the corporate market, building trusted relationships with HR, reward, benefits and pensions leaders, and positioning the firm as a credible, thoughtful voice in financial wellbeing.

Working closely with senior stakeholders across marketing, delivery and leadership, you’ll help shape the go-to-market strategy, ensure the proposition continues to meet evolving client needs, and create a strong, sustainable pipeline of new opportunities.

Just as importantly, you’ll take ownership of the early client journey, ensuring onboarding is thoughtful, expectations are clear, and delivery teams are set up for success from day one.

What You’ll Be Doing

Winning and Growing Corporate Relationships

  • Leading business development activity across the financial wellbeing proposition
  • Building and nurturing senior corporate relationships using both your existing network and proactive market engagement
  • Acting as a visible ambassador in the market, contributing to conversations around financial wellbeing, reward and employee support
  • Leading tenders, shaping commercial proposals and agreeing scopes and pricing
  • Maintaining a healthy, well-managed pipeline with clear reporting and insight

Client Onboarding & Oversight

  • Taking ownership of the transition from sale to delivery, ensuring clients feel confident, informed and supported
  • Briefing delivery teams clearly on client objectives, success measures and timelines
  • Providing oversight during implementation to ensure programmes land well and deliver real impact
  • Encouraging best practice through leadership, role modelling and mentoring

Client Development & Retention

  • Identifying opportunities to deepen and broaden existing client relationships
  • Proactively managing risk, responding to feedback and resolving issues with care and pace
  • Helping clients access the full breadth of services available, where appropriate
  • Taking a long-term, partnership-led approach to account development

What We’re Looking For

This is a role for a confident, credible business winner – someone who enjoys being out in the market, building relationships and opening doors, but who also cares deeply about delivery quality and client outcomes.

You’ll bring:

  • A strong existing network across HR, reward, benefits, pensions or adjacent markets
  • Proven financial experience winning new business and growing client revenues
  • A deep understanding of the financial wellbeing landscape and related markets
  • Commercial acumen and strong market awareness
  • Gravitas, warmth and the ability to influence at senior level
  • A collaborative mindset and a genuine desire to mentor and support others
  • Resilience, self-motivation and a clear sense of purpose

Experience across employee benefits, workplace advice, or retail financial advice environments will be highly valuable.

Why Join?

You’ll be joining a business that is growing with intent.  One that values partnership over transactions and impact over noise.

In return, you can expect:

  • A competitive salary with profit-share participation
  • A flexible benefits package tailored to your needs
  • Hybrid working with a balance of home and office (two days per week in office)
  • A flexible working window between 7am and 7pm
  • Strong commitment to personal and professional development
  • Mental health and wellbeing support
  • Paid volunteering days and a day off to celebrate your birthday
  • A collaborative, encouraging culture where ideas are welcomed and trusted

If you’re truly passionate about financial wellbeing, enjoy shaping strategy, and thrive on building meaningful corporate partnerships, this is a rare opportunity to make a genuine impact – commercially and socially.
