Mortgage Adviser

This very reputable and successful whole of market Mortgage Advice team are an important part of a large national award winning, wealth management company. They are well established, and people stay in this department a long time. The reason for this Mortgage Adviser vacancy is internal promotion. This is a really great role! You will be joining one of the UK’s largest financial planning and investment firms, known for its long-standing reputation and trusted client relationships.

The great thing is that the clients are provided, and no fee is charged to the client!

Most of your client meetings will be via video and telephone, with some client meetings happening in the Gatwick office, or potentially on the client site. This is a hybrid role with two days in the office and three days at home.

Does this describe you?

• An experienced, qualified Mortgage Adviser, perhaps from a whole of market background
• An enjoyment of developing new and maintaining existing long-term client relationships
• Familiar with X-Plan as a mortgage tool and Iress/Trigold as a research tool
• Self-motivated, efficient, thorough and forward thinking
• Professional, proactive, and a positive attitude with an ability to multi-task

 Your role will be:

• Delivering holistic whole of market mortgage and protection advice, via video calls, telephone and face to face
• Bridging finance, corporate and equity release through a recommended partner
• Utilising the internal service to all employees of the company and to some large firms who they partner with to offer mortgage advice
• Providing exceptional service to and nurturing existing clients and referred clients from the national Financial Planner teams
• Working as a team player in putting the clients’ needs first
• Given full admin support
