Location: Manchester

Basic: £100,000

Additional benefits:

Do you embrace change and are proactive with your ideas?  Are you comfortable collaborating with the wider business, managing large teams and reporting to the executive heads with the aim of increasing the cohesion between Paraplanners and Admin?

Does this describe you?

  • Demonstrable (ideally national) experience of managing large, multi-site operational teams to a high level
  • Proven experience of coaching, training and developing Paraplanners and teams to improve performance and efficiency of processes and leading teams through change
  • Involvement in process design and report structures, with experience of risk profiling, cashflow modelling and risk profile platforms
  • Ability to work independently and also confident contributing to a senior management team environment, presenting to the executive team and being involved in committees
  • Diploma in Financial Planning (ideally Chartered)

Your Role

  • To assume overall responsibility for the second line management of the company’s national team of Paraplanners, and management responsibility for a team Managers
  • To design, develop and implement suitable processes and workflow analysis whilst identifying key trends, areas for efficiency and process improvements and creating and delivering solutions
  • To be a point of referral and provide technical expertise to ensure the production of first-class reports and research on a full range of financial planning products and services, ensuring best practice is shared, regulatory compliance and that consistency is achieved throughout
  • To work collaboratively across functions to provide a cohesive experience for both clients and advisers
