Basic: £55,000

The role:

This is a hands-on, Pod-based leadership role focused on improving the speed, accuracy and consistency of advice delivery.

You’ll lead a team of Paraplanners and Planning Support professionals, ensuring seamless workflows and high-quality service that frees up Advisers to focus on what they do best: delivering financial planning advice to clients.

You’ll collaborate closely with other Paraplanning/Advice Delivery Managers and business leaders to embed consistent processes across all Pods, and contribute to firmwide operational improvements.

You’ll be:

  • Managing, developing and performance-tracking Paraplanners and Planning Support staff
  • Driving workflow improvements and resource allocation across advice delivery
  • Collaborating with Training, People and Leadership teams, owning the hiring, performance management and ongoing development of team members
  • Acting as a central point for process improvements and operational escalations, driving operational efficiency to enable teams to work effectively and collaboratively
  • Using MI to monitor performance and support the structured bonus scheme
  • Helping embed consistent, best-practice processes across all Pods, ensuring team members understand what is expected of them, and being the first point of contact for any concerns
  • Supporting advisers to enable them to spend more time with clients, ensuring clients receive excellent service, every time

Does this describe you?

  • A minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in paraplanning or client services
  • A strong understanding of financial planning processes and advice regulation
  • Proven team leadership experience in financial services
  • Confident using MI and data to monitor performance and drive change
  • A high attention to detail and a calm, organised approach
  • Clear, confident communicator with excellent stakeholder management skills
  • An ability to drive consistency and efficiency while maintaining a client-first mindset
