Are you an inspired Development Manager? We are looking for a special person to work with a great team of employed IFAs across the North region. You can work from home with travel to meet with IFAs 

Do you enjoy motivating and upskilling? 

You will ensure that Advisers demonstrate the levels of knowledge, skills and expertise to undertake their role competently supported by a great Training and Competence programme and TCF strategy

The key aim of this role is to coach, train, develop and monitor the performance Financial Advisers, ensuring clients receive an outstanding service and that all regulatory requirements and standards are met and maintained

You will need to be someone who

  • Passionate about putting clients’ needs front and centre of what you do
  • Thrives in working with IFAs who have developed tailored and lasting relationships with their clients and their wider families
  • Prides yourself in supporting IFAs to deliver unbiased solutions that their clients can be confident in
  • Enjoys learning and growing as a Manager
  • Diploma or Chartered qualified
  • Strong Training and Development background
  • Previous experience of an RDC / Field Supervisor role
  • Up to date compliance and risk management knowledge
  • Conducts induction training for Advisers joining the company
  • Manages and supervises Advisers performance and provide appropriate levels of oversight from non-competent to competent status
  • Undertakes training needs analysis to identify training gaps in skills and knowledge
  • Coaches and trains Advisers to enhance their skills and knowledge
  • Investigates areas of underperformance, report findings and recommended remedial action
  • Prepare development plans to address learning needs
  • Conducts Observation and Assessment of IFAs’ advisory skills to demonstrate their ongoing competency, and to identify training needs
  • Participates in role-play assessment of IFAs
  • Undertakes pre-sale and post-sale client file reviews, instructing remedial action and identifying areas for development
  • Gathers appropriate management information to enable appropriate assessment of IFAs’ performance against KPIs
  • Holds regular 1:1 one to one reviews with IFAs
  • Provides compliance advice and guidance to assist the IFAs in maintain their knowledge of regulatory requirements
  • Ensures IFAs undertake appropriate levels of CPD tailored to learning needs and which meets minimum regulatory requirements
