Are you a great Manager and a great adviser?  Are you looking to provide excellent financial advice and also manage and support a team of Financial Planners? This national wealth management company is offering a basic salary of up to £70,000, car allowance, good benefits and a great bonus on top.

As an Adviser Manager you will initially be managing a small team of experienced IFAs across the West of the country, within one of the UK’s leading specialist IFA firms. As the team grows, so will your role and if you wish into a full time managerial role. This client has always been very committed to providing the very best possible financial planning service to their clients. They look after their Financial Advisers and supporting staff well. You’ll be managing and motivating Wealth Planners who are providing holistic, independent financial advice solutions ensuring they provide the best possible service to their clients. These people are a joy to work with, as they genuinely put the client first.

Does this describe you? 

  • Enjoying bringing out the best in financial advisers, with proven experience of building, managing and motivating cohesive and effective teams in the Financial Planning sector
  • Adaptive in your management style, dependent on the needs of the IFA and levels of expertise
  • Consultative communicative style, with your aim being to understand before being understood, and experience in communicating with groups and individuals alike
  • Self-motivated, efficient, thorough and forward thinking, with a love of working with and understanding data
  • Professional, proactive and a positive attitude with an ability to multi-task and proven experience as a financial adviser
  • Level 4 Diploma qualified in Regulated Financial Planning

As an Adviser Manager: 

  • Utilising your in-depth experience in Financial Advice, you will be specifically managing IFAs and supporting them with your excellent knowledge and experience of the advisory process, ensuring they deliver high quality holistic advice within FCA guidelines
  • Your flexible management and coaching style, will enable you to meet the needs of a team of advisers varying in experience – nurturing and overseeing the advice given by inexperienced advisers, and ensuring CPD and training is adequately maintained and provided
  • Proven success as a business leader with commercial acumen and the ability to deliver though others, thus ensuring KPIs are met, and customer outcomes are positive – the emphasis is on customer retention alongside organic growth
  • Regularly review business development plans and adviser performance in order to guarantee the training and competence requirements of the business are met, and to recruit high calibre, culturally aligned advisers
  • Excel in providing compliant, high quality financial advice, and building strong lasting relationships with clients
  • Proactively generate new client opportunities
  • Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment whilst maintaining positive relationships with your team and key stakeholders will be crucial
