Holistic Wealth Management | Supportive Team | Pathway to Leadership

Location: Taunton

Basic: £39,000

Additional benefits:

This is a business where people stay, grow, and feel valued - both professionally and personally.

This is an excellent role for an experienced Client Services Administrator who takes great pride in their work and thrives on being part of a team.  Someone who understands that behind every piece of administration is a client placing trust in the advice they receive, and a team relying on everything running smoothly behind the scenes.

This holistic wealth management firm places genuine emphasis on looking after its clients and creating a supportive, “happy work family” environment for its team. This is a business where people stay, grow, and feel valued – both professionally and personally.

They are now looking for a Senior Client Services Administrator to play a key role within their client support function.  Someone who brings experience, care, and a proactive mindset, and who enjoys being a steady, trusted presence within a collaborative team.

The opportunity

This is an opportunity to take ownership, support others, and contribute to how the team operates and evolves. You’ll work closely with advisers, paraplanners and the Client Services Manager, helping to ensure a consistent, high-quality experience for clients at every stage of the journey.

You’ll also act as a point of support and guidance for more junior team members, sharing your knowledge, helping others grow, and playing a part in shaping a positive, high-performing team culture.

For someone who enjoys responsibility and is open to progression, this role offers a natural pathway towards future leadership.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll be involved across a broad range of client servicing and operational responsibilities, including:

  • Acting as a key point of contact for clients, advisers, paraplanners and external providers
  • Ensuring that complex client cases across a range of financial planning areas are managed, ensuring accuracy and quality throughout
  • Supporting the end-to-end client journey, from implementation through to ongoing servicing
  • Preparing and maintaining high-quality client records, documentation and reports
  • Monitoring workloads and helping ensure tasks are completed within agreed timescales
  • Supporting the smooth running of team operations and day-to-day workflow
  • Contributing to process improvements and helping enhance efficiency across the team
  • Assisting with management information reporting and operational insight
  • Supporting complaint handling with professionalism, care and attention to detail
  • Helping mentor and guide junior team members, sharing knowledge and best practice
  • Maintaining strong working relationships across the business and with external partners

This is a role where your attention to detail, judgement and initiative will make a real difference, both to the team and to the client experience.

About you

This role would suit someone who is confident in their experience, enjoys supporting others, and takes pride in delivering consistently high standards.

You’ll likely bring:

  • Experience within a financial services administration or IFA support role
  • Strong knowledge across areas such as pensions, investments, protection and wider planning structures
  • Confidence handling more complex cases and client scenarios
  • A solid understanding of compliance, regulation and best practice
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Confidence using CRM systems, platforms and Microsoft Office tools
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset
  • The ability to manage your own workload while supporting others
  • A calm, professional approach with a genuine focus on client care

You’ll enjoy being part of a team, but equally feel comfortable taking ownership and using your initiative.

You’ll be joining a firm where:
