What inspired you to pursue a career in financial services recruitment?

My previous experience in Financial Services and the opportunity to use that experience as a recruiter.

What book are you currently reading, and why would you recommend it?

Nero by Conn Iggulden…..I love historical fiction!

Outside of work, what are your passions and hobbies?

Music, reading, sports especially football and cricket, looking after Grandchildren.

If you could have lunch with any financial industry figure, past or present, who would it be and why?

Peter Hargreaves, a trailblazer in making investing accessible to so many people.

Do you have a favourite quote or mantra that guides your approach to recruitment?

There is the opportunity to learn something new everyday day, keep curious and keep learning.

What’s a piece of advice you often give to candidates navigating the financial services job market?

Be clear about what it is you want to achieve and use that to work in tandem with a recruiter you can trust.

How has the financial industry evolved since you began your career in recruitment?

There has been so much change, but I would say regulation and increased complexity.
