This friendly, specialist independent financial advice company is looking for an Advice Associate to join their vibrant and successful team and work closely with a Chartered Financial Planner to provide support and assistance. In return they will also receive assistance and mentorship, and the chance to progress to Chartered Financial Planner should they so wish

In this role you will be:

  • Supporting and working with your adviser and clients, setting up client files, fact finding, risk questionnaires and information gathering
  • Attending meetings and ensuring a positive advice experience for the client, and being able to talk knowledgeably about the advice they have been given
  • Ensuring clients understand the advice process and liaising throughout their case, ensuring they receive the best possible experience and enhancing client satisfaction
  • Maintaining superb relationships with the team, co-ordinating administrative and paraplanning efforts, and assisting in moving cases forward
  • Preparing cashflow and reports and using cash flow software in client meetings and liaising with Paraplanning to prepare suitability reports
  • Following up on bulk communications, and gathering feedback, reviews, testimonials and referrals

You will need:

  • A willingness to learn and study to pass Financial Services Qualifications
  • Attention to detail as you will be managing advice cases from commencement to completion
  • To be part of delivery of events, such as seminars, webinars, trade shows, client celebrations, staff socials, company retreats
  • The ability to manage the social media presence for the company
  • The ability to develop initiatives to generate positive reputation and media coverage
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
