This is a role for someone who loves to see the development in others
Working from home, you’ll be:
- Working across different business areas to scope and manage training and development plans, ensuring they deliver capability uplifts for these initiatives
- Onboarding new teams: Designing, delivering and evaluating onboarding programmes for new teams, to ensure that a high quality and sustainable programme is provided. This includes digital content and face to face workshops, to support the launch of new products / systems / processes
- Upskilling existing colleagues: Designing and delivering blended training solutions (either directly or indirectly via Train the Trainer route) for existing colleagues, ensuring that managers are also effectively trained to support embedding into performance
- Designing and implementing evaluation methodology to ensure training can be successfully validated and evaluated
- Ensuring training materials are current, relevant, and accurate, working with subject matter experts to ensure training materials are managed and maintained
- Digital hosting of materials: Liaising with the Training, Competence & Development Team, l People Development team and Internal Communication Business Partner to host and maintain digital content through SharePoint and the intranet site
You will need to have:
- A recognised financial services Level 4 qualification as a minimum requirement (e.g. CII Diploma in Financial Planning)
- A proven track record of success within a training and coaching role, in a financial services regulated advice environment
- Experience in the design and delivery of a range of training solutions including digital content (Rise, Articulate etc.), remote and face to face workshops
- Thorough knowledge of regulatory and legislative requirements relating to provision of financial advice
- A motivational and inspiring approach with excellent training/presentation skills
- Experience of setting direction, motivating and developing others towards delivering operational goals
